Al-Khobar Photobook
The spaces we occupy are always in transition, as are we.
Change happens gradually, but it also happens rapidly. This photobook documents the streets
of Al-Khobar in Saudi Arabia, which have remained more or less the same over decades.
However, some shops that have been around for over 30 years are now disappearing. The photobook
aims to document the changing structure of the city, and documenting the old architecture
and shops that have shaped the urban landscape in the context of the contemporary before they
become of the past.

New York New York
It is one of those transformative places; always changing and beating the odds to stay "new." It is a city that also transforms those living in it. The urban landscape that is New York combines a hardness and a softness all at once. It is simultaneously historical and contemporary. The interior and exterior spaces within the city are intertwined to create a feeling of transitioning from one way of being to the next.
This publication combines visual and written communication my own photography, and poems about New York by a number of writers and visionaries. Its purpose is to invite the viewer into visually and verbally experiencing the history, complexity, and visual poetry of New York City.
